iTalkHockey adds Nass Idebdou as Featured Columnist

iTalkHockey would like to welcome Nass Idebdou as a Featured Columnist.

Nass will contribute on our player movement news and rumors blog, as well as our Entertainment blog. As we are about her joining iTalkHockey, Nass is very excited about writing for us.

“This is my first shot at writing for a hockey blog, and this opportunity is definitely one that will allow me to get a hands on experience in sports journalism and use my writing skills to talk puck!”

    About Nass

Born and raised in Montreal, Nass is currently living in Ottawa but will soon move back to her beloved hometown. So, which team does she cheer for?

“My favorite hockey team is indeed the Chicago Blackhawks, but hometown duties oblige, I favor the Montreal Canadiens in the East!”

Nass is currently a Finance Major, and hopes to combine her passion for sports with a career in the sports industry. She’s a true sports chick, who follows the NFL (the Bears), tennis, soccer, baseball, basketball (hopefully again by New Year’s) and of course hockey.

Emilia Amaral announced as iTalkHockey’s latest Featured Columnist

iTalkHockey would like to announce the addition of Emilia Amaral as a Featured Columnist.

Emilia will be writing for our player movement news and rumors, and entertainment blogs. Emilia is currently a Communications major with a focus in journalism, which she hopes will lead her down the path to a career in sports journalism. This is just one more step in that journey. She is also one of a number of contributors to the San Jose Sharks blog on Tumblr blog.

    Welcome Emilia!

    About Emilia

As a San Jose native, Emilia is a die hard Sharks fan. Literally. Bleeding teal at times. Running a successful Sharks blog, Emilia has gotten to know players and has gotten to know more about the game in general. Although she calls the Sharks her main team, she’s knowledgeable about pretty much every team in the league and then some.

Stephanie Frizell joins iTalkHockey as Featured Columnist

iTalkHockey is excited to announce the addition of another Featured Columnist: Stephanie Frizell.

Stephanie will contribute on a variety of our blogs. With countless hours of watching hockey under her belt, we have no doubt she will be an asset to our writing team.

    Welcome Stephanie!

    About Stephanie

If you’ve never met a die-hard Toronto Maple Leafs fan yet, than you’ve never met Stephanie. She’s a supporter through thick and thin, no doubt about it. But don’t let that fool you. She’s a very knowledgeable hockey fan and knows anything and everything about all the teams and players in the league.

Asked why she wanted to write for iTalkHockey, Stephanie said that “it would provide an outlet for my hockey talk as most of my friends are clearly from a non-sports planet.”

We suspect her real reason is she has a secret plan to convert all of our readers into Leafs fans… we’ll have to keep an eye on her.
